SAAMO - Minder mazen, meer net.

Client: SAAMO

Collaboration with: Goedgoed

Illustrations: Peter Goes

Role: concept & script, directed, animation & production

This animation is part of a campaign by SAAMO which aims at forming strong neighbourhood networks where nobody is left out and everyone cares for each other. It was the store front of a digital publication which can be read here. (Dutch version, English version here.)

A strong message which I take to heart, and which was shouldered by equally strong individuals.

Process:

Goedgoed is a design company which aims at forwarding good change by design. They only take on projects which benefit society or have a cultural impact and are lead by the amazing Hanna Maes.

Hanna contacted me to serve as the audiovisual creative in a new campaign  by SAAMO, a Belgian organisation which sole mission is to strengthen Belgian society, end discrimination, and lay the groundworks for a world where everyone can be happy and prosper.

This new campaign revolved around neigherhoods, and how they could strengthen the fabric of a society and help any individual move forward in life, feel accepted, and be a part of something.

SAAMO had a great vision in this. So I was happy to be involved in the conceptual process of this project, where Hanna would tie the campaign together, Peter Goes would provide the brilliant artwork, and I would make the 35 second audiovisual invitation.

A special thanks in this project goes to Bernadette Verreth of SAAMO. She exels in the understanding of 'the clear line' and was an invaluable contact in translating SAAMO's message to the audience.

Lastly, a big shoutout to Hanna Maes and Goedgoed, whom I always enjoy working with.
